to be his girlfriend. However, I told him that I like him very much, but I didn't want to have a boyfriend before having a stable career first because noone can guarantee my future except me. He told me that he would wait for me. I told him that it's ok with me if he is dating other girls during his waiting period and I will let him know when I get my degree and then we will become bf and gf. Also, I told him if he's married by that time, then we're till friends not enemy.... And he said he would wait for me. Then we went to separate school and did not see each other for two years...Occasionally, we called each other and talked a little bit... I will recieve my RN in three more months from today and I have been very excited....However, yesterday, I suddenly saw him in Alberson Market holding hand with the other girl....We greeted each other, had a little conversation while his gf was holding hands with him, and I felt hurted inside!...... What do I do now?

Be his friend like you told him you would be.
Questions to ask yourself:
Why did you feel hurt inside?
Did you make a MISTAKE by not being his girlfriend when he asked you?
Did you LIE to him that it would be okay if he saw other people?
It sounds to me like you need to grow up a little and find out what you want out of life. Education... Career... Relationship... why couldn't you have a boyfriend and go to school at the same time?
I suggest that you live and let live and move on. That is, unless you really love him and you want him more that anyone and really think that he's the one for you... then maybe you could take a chance and tell him how you feel and see how he feels about it. But it may be that you missed your chance! SORRY!

Finish your education and move on. At least you didn't lose him as a friend, which will outlast a possible relationship you "could have" had. You never know, if it was meant to be, you might run into each other in the future and both be available at that time. :)
