Aspirin is an ANALGESIC (reduces pain), ANTI-INFLAMMATORY (reduces swelling) and ANTI-PYRETIC (reduces fever)

Ibuprofen is an ANALGESIC and ANTI-INFLAMMATORY, but cannot reduce fever

(Difference is because of the receptors on which they act on)
