I am the maid of honor in my friend's wedding. I am never one to do anthing average, I want it to be memorable and make my friend feel special, a bonding experience. I am usually great when it comes to creating things like this, but at this point in my life I just can't seem to find my creative bug!! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Whether it be themes, games, things to do. FYI, it will have to be held the Wed night of the wedding due to all guests being from out of town. And we are all about 25 yrs old

Thanks!!!

One game we played at my friend's party. On the invite each girl was asked to buy and wrap a pair of size 7 panties for the bride. We sat in a circle as she opened them and she had to guess who they were from. If she got it wrong she took a jello shot. If she got it right the girl who bought them took the jello shot. Some were comfy, others were sexy.

It was a good time and she got lots of cute undies for the honeymoon! Later we went out to bars and what-not. Nothing too unique there. Good luck!

Okay, first we need to know where you are from. I am getting married as well, and my bridesmaids are the ones getting all the parties together. I don't want the traditional bar hopping. They asked me what I would like to do, and we are compromising, they will surprise me with a mix of my ideas. I suggested going to the waterpark, in Wisconsin Dells since we live an hour away and spend the day there. Then all my friends who have kids can bring their kids as well. Then whomever didn't come that day would meet us at The Melting Pot. It is a fondue experience with entrees and dessert. That way the older family members would enjoy it as well. Then we are going to get on a limo bus and have them drive us all over Southwest Wisconsin to all the little hoedown bars and just make fun of all the spots we bar hop too. I don't want the hub of Madison or big city bars. Then for the bridal shower we are going to go to brunch instead of the traditional home party. That way there is no clean up. For games, we won't do any because everyone would rather just get together and talk. I can suggest that you do a dinner theatre, a play, waterparks, rollercoaster parks or just something that wouldn't normally attract you too. We are about the same age as well. We are all 26 so we are a little older and everyone one of my friends have kids. So this way everyone can be involved. Rock climbing or a picnic on the beach. It is hard to know when we don't know where you live! Hope this helps. Have a great time, because whatever you do, you will have a great last hurrah!!!

I got married last year and I didn't want to go out and get drunk, do the stripper thing...because some of my friends were not yet 21 and also, I wanted to do something different!
So my maid of honor got together with some of my other friends (and wedding party) and kidnapped me for a day. They showed up at my house at like 6 am, gave me enough time to put some clothes on and brush my teeth and carried me away! Literaly! Lol...our first stop was IHOP for some pancakes, and then they drove me from San Francisco (that's where I lived at the time) to Santa Cruz where we spent the day in the beach and shopping. It was a lot of fun and it was just us girls having a good time. We spent the night at this really cute inn (there were 6 of us) eating ice cream and playing truth or dare. I know it sounds kinda silly but we had a LOT of fun!
My best friend is getting married in May, so we are doing something similar for her. Only, we are taking her sky diving! She claims she always wanted to go, so we are all shelling out the money to realize her dream. It's like $300. It's a really cool rite of passage...and she'll never forget it!

Go to a day spa, with sexy 'attendants'... Get pampered by sexy guys and enjoy spending time with your girlfriends and the soon to be bride in a relaxing place.

Lots of day spas have that package, you just have to ask for all male attendants.

Or: Kidnap her for a night and fly out to Vegas and party hard, if Vegas is too expensive, take her down to the boats then to some strip clubs out there.

If she isnt the type to enjoy that, do a traditional English Tea Lunch. Its great, affordable and they set up table for you, mini sandwhiches and a varity of different teas and goodies. You can all dress up and enjoy some quiet time but still are able to gossip and have fun.

Good luck!!

I played a fun game at a bachelorette party one time that was memorable. Everyone started out with twenty pennies. One person would start out saying something like, "I've never had sex before." Then everyone that had had sex had to throw in a penny. Next statement, "I've never kissed a girl before" and then everyone that had done that threw in a penny. First person with no pennies left wins and well is probably morally questionable! Have fun!

At mine, each girl brought one item of clothing that reminded her of me(scarf, jewelry, hat, 80's dress). We went around and they each told me why they chose it and then I had to put it on...I looked ridiculous at the end of the night, but so drunk I didn't care! Yes, I even went out in Vegas all dressed up like that! HA! It was a lot of fun, but it would depend on how many girls will be there...you probably only do it with max 10 girls.

find a pole dancing class or burlesque class in your area.. they are popping up everywhere these days and spend the day doing that.

I did that for my friends hen's night. Pole dancing during the day and then dancing/clubbing at night. It was a great way to spend time.

Good luck

We're taking the bride to see Tony and Tina's Wedding-a really fun interactive play! I highly recommend it!

Get a bunch of homeless guys to strip for you. It's very original and it couldn't cost that much.
