MANY cameras don't have sound!!!
Also, the fps (frames per second) makes a definate difference. 10fps will look horrible, 30 looks great.
Then there's the size of the video 640x480 @30fps should be minimum. HiDef are best.
avi files use more space than mpeg.
Lots of choices, but all available in different digital cameras.
Look at the Kodak C875 with MPEG-4 (Quicktime)

Not all Digital cameras have the sound feature. its easy to know whether your digital camera has video features and sound features, you just have to look at the specs.

mine doesnt have sound, but it does record.
some cameras do have sound though, because my friends camera does, not camcorder.
just make sure you look on the package or ask a sales person if your looking to buy one though, just to make sure.

Most have sound also. The still pictures can also have narration added to them.
