No - don't do it, your girlfriend is lying to you - it will not look good.

your a teen, in the middle of highschool, boys, girls, etc?

what is with you little one.
If it does not turn and and likely it won't (I'll bet she never permed hair before, as well as with foam perm) you are looking at 6 months of humiliating defeat.

if you do it wrong you may burn your hair or loose most of it altogether.

get someone who knows what they are doing or have it done at a salon.

Unless you have 100% confidence in your girlfriend's knowledge & skill to do so, don't. Even a foam perm contains chemical, if used incorrectly you might end up with disastrous results.

I wouldn`t if i was you, My daughter was given a home perm by a friend and it was not good. Her hair broke and it was too tight so it went frizzy. save your money and go to a salon.

Well, just think about what you would look like with one. I personally don't like tight perms but that's just me.

You should be really careful when it comes to perms, some of them can really damage your hair.

I wouldn't do it. perms are so out now. Why would you want to resemble a poodle?
