It means that the file is compressed by a compression algorithm used by either an archiving utility or windows.
Either way you can extract the file by right clicking it and selecting "extract here" option. Within seconds a small blue lettered file should appear...leave it there for now.
Then go to your start menu and click the "search" button in the right hand column
Search for "all files and folders" and type in the search box "fonts" then click search.
Once you see a yellow folder show up labeled "fonts" double click it and it should open the folder containing all the fonts on your PC.
Drag the file that was extracted before to this folder or just cut and paste it.
Windows will automatically install the font for all applications including MS Word.
Good Luck!

It's not necessarily installed into Word, but rather into the system.
Go to Control Panel > Fonts and then select the File > Install new font... option

rather than reproduction it to domicile windows/Fonts folder, you will possibly extra effective make a committed folder for further fonts (downloaded in the different case). in case you desire some fonts, upload them by making use of "administration Panel>Fonts>document>set up New Font ..." and uncheck "reproduction fonts to Fonts folder". once you do no longer desire them, open "administration Panel>Fonts" and delete unneeded fonts. do no longer hardship, they're in straight forward terms shortcuts. no longer sensible? specific, regardless of the undeniable fact that it enables your laptop run properly. (The extra fonts put in, the extra RAM fed on). extra extra effective way is to get your self a unfastened font supervisor. purely seek the internet.
