after you dowload a new type of font how do you install it into microsoft word. i need the steps?????
the font file is zipped what does that mean?

Download AND Install WinZip:

Right-Click on the Zip file and Extract it to a folder somewhere
Open the folder and Right-Click and "Copy" the font file.
Go to "My Computer" then "Disk Drive (C:/)" then "Windows" then "Fonts" and Right-Click and "Paste" the font file.
Close and Reopen Microsoft Word.
You're good to go then.

Then go to your start menu and click the "search" button in the right hand column
Search for "all files and folders" and type in the search box "fonts" then click search.
Once you see a yellow folder show up labeled "fonts" double click it and it should open the folder containing all the fonts on your PC.
Drag the file that was extracted before to this folder or just cut and paste it.
Windows will automatically install the font for all applications including MS Word.
