We could all be Gods, why look up to some invisible guy in the sky, you and me are living in the world together, it's just us, dude there is no invisible stuff going on.... that's why the Dali Lama says his only religion is kindness... we are all we have, and thats the way I see it also

just to clear up any confusion I am not a Buddhist. I've been reading many religious texts from different religions over the past year... and suddenly it hit me...we spend all this time praising this omniscient omnipotent guy, fearing him, well what if its the other way around and we're just downplaying our own power? What if HE praises OUR power as people, and dreams of OUR greatness? Believing that you are a God in your own right (not to the point of being like Xerxes in 300 haha) is an empowering thought, and one that I have a lot of faith in. And yes, the question might be confusing at first, but it provokes thought.

No, ''we dream about the existence of god'' because we have an imagination, that means god is a fabrication, god's not for real.

You've must have read the book Wicker by Gregory something or nother. The book mentions the great time dragon that dreams oz and everyone up.
Kind of a trippy idea.

And if the wind fish should ever awaken, the world will come to an end. Or thus it sayeth in Zelda, but this is actually based on a religion, is it not? Actually I might be thinking of Terranigma.

when you phrase correctly a question, you have the answer within, mate!
it is true, but how deep one can get its meaning?
one that has merely gone above the average man... and needs some gradient to grasp its meaning, and not getting confused and daydreaming of that question?
why not trying to be more explicit, with out spoiling the question, of course?
you might tell me that these are questions for advanced people! OK, but we all have the right to know !

That's deep indeed,
Well, i think if any creator-based-religion was true, when looking at the greater image from an existential prospective.. I think we can consider all the creation as "thoughts" in this creator's imagination.. something like a "computer software" or an imaginary video games characters.
it's fun looking at it this way..
Anyway he's just in our imagination..

We do NOT dream about the existence of God. The Christian fundies know god exists and the atheists know god is fictional. Nobody dreams anything.
