Are there any stay at home mom's out there that are sick of being a housewife, not the kid's just everything else that goes with it. Just wondering?

I'm a stay-at-home mom too and I feel like that some days.
I hate waking up every day knowing that there is a ton of laundry to do (and I'm the only one that does it), that dinner has to be made and that if I don't clean the house no one else will. I have found that dividing up the chores one room per day keeps me sane. That way I never tackle the whole house! I also joined a play group, so on Thursdays I pack the kiddos up and go hang with other moms. It is a nice way to break up the week. Try finding one in your location.
My husband works 12 hour shifts too and I know it can really suck. Good luck to ya!

Yes, all I do is clean yet nothing gets clean. Being a housewife sucks but at least I get to stay at home with my son.

I do not like being a stay at home mom that much either. I don't like cLeaning up everyday. cooking is fun but my fiancee works 14 hr shifts so why cook!!!!! I find myself using babytalk all the time and I have Started watching soap operas. I wish I could find a suitable job, but there isn't much out there that pays well enough to work and pay for daycare. I love my family but I want to do more with myself. ARE WE NORMAL!!!!! LOL
