You can have the bridal shower anytime you would like, but I would say 30 days before is the latest you would want to have it. Keep in mind that everyone who buys you a gift at the bridal shower will also buy you one for the wedding and some people may need to spread those purchases out for financial reasons.

My bridesmaids are making my bridal shower about 6 weeks before the wedding......Your shower guest will also be buying a wedding gift, so its better if the dates are not too close. As for the bachlorette party do NOT have the night before the wedding. The last thing you need is to be hung over and tired on your big day....i say have the bachlorette party the week-end before your wedding week-end.

Well you have a bridal shower which is usually about a month before maybe two weeks, and then you have bacholerette party the night before!!

Mine will be 6 weeks before my wedding. I've heard 6-10 weeks is the norm.

At least 2 months before... any later then that she'll know it's coming... 2 or 3 months prior she won't see it coming.
