Respect and love for my future wife. The love I have for my wife will be stronger and more true. If you don't have sex, you can't make a child. There will also never be a question abortion. You give your children a guarantee of a mother and a father. STD's. If you can't be virtuous before marriage, what makes you think you'll during? When you treat something with sacredness it lasts longer. There's a reason divorce is becoming more and more common. I could go on and on.
I'm Mormon and the main reason I stay chaste is for love of God, but there are far more reasons that aren't 'religious.'

Yes, I am religious, and yes, I stayed a virgin up to the day of my wedding.
It was incredibly difficult, and I did come close a few times, but my wife and I agree that it is something special that we share, that a lot of other people can't share. We now have and always have had exclusivity rights to each other.
The reason I did is because I don't believe in 'picking and choosing' which commandments I want to follow. I won't say that I am perfect; I have often needed to repent. But the first commandments that God gave, in my opinion, are the most important in His mind. One of the earliest commandments given, even before Moses' "thou shalt not commit adultery" was that sexual activity was to be kept within the bonds of matrimony.

I am religious and Catholic.
In Genisis we ate the fruit from the tree of wisdom and this is symbolic that we are different from the other animals.

There are no good reasons not to have sex before marriage, beyond simply not wanting to.
However there are some very good reasons to protect yourself from unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

because they are too fat or ugly to get any, so they use that as an excuse.
They turn to a mythical fairy tale because no one loves them and no one can love them as they are fat and ugly.
