If you are Using Ctrl c and then Ctrl V, one Possibility is that the Clipboard is full
Either try the Right Mouse click options to Transfer, or see if the Clipboard is full.
Probably the best fix is reboot and then try again

The destination is full
The destination is broken, unplugged, or damaged'
You have no right to copy it ( administrator previlage sometimes needed)
You cant copy paste files onto CD or DVD, you must BURN the data.

If you're copying a message that can't be forwarded from Microsoft Outlook, it cant be copyed.
