The illegal immigrant has been elevated to sacred status and is now entitled to benefits and consideration unavailable to the average tax paying citizen. They seem to have the right to break the law without sanction why does this not apply to me ?

Because you are presumed to not need them as much as some other people, so, in the spirit of being 'fair', they've taken them from you (us) and given them to more 'worthy' and 'deserving' people. Another reason is that we've caught on to all the government lies, so instead of doing right by us, they simply took our rights and gave them to people who support them. In effect, they voted US out.
Of course, some of their new 'rights' are more like privileges. We never had any right to break any laws with impunity, unlike the illegals. I'm not talking about just illegally crossing the border either. US citizens that are victims of illegals are told every day that nothing can be done because they are too hard to find. But they CAN find a particular Mexican drug dealer when it suits them, to prosecute (persecute?) border patrol agents that were trying to do their jobs.

Look it is obviously unfair and unethical some of the treatment illegal immigrants and their families receive but I'll take my status as a US Citizen any day. They do not have half the opportunities available to them that we do and they are still illegal under the constant threat of being sent packing. They do not have the same rights whatsoever but they do have too many, I'll give you that.

lesroys , you need to wake up and join the real world, I have several rentals where illegals live and I see their gifts daily by our fed , and state gov, they have organizations all around the country who know exactly what to do to get free, medical, food stamps, low cost loans, subsidized housing, and so many freebies I could write a book, yet when a U,S, citizen applies for even unemployment benefits it becomes a night mare trying to make it thru the paper work, yet these people WHO can't even speak English sail right on thru, so don't give me this .B.S. citizens have more rights etc, the only thing can see a illegal can't do and a Citizen can is run for president, an how many citizens are even interested in making a fool of them selves and try running for President?

Because we have got to the point where is is PC to give everything away with no thought about how things are going to get paid for. They are buying votes. There are even referendums to allow illegal immigrants to vote.

The taxpaying American citizen is being screwed and it needs to stop.

Your question is non-sensical. Name me a RIGHT that an illegal immigrant has that you do not.

They do NOT have the RIGHT to break the law. I do not deny many get away with it.

What baloney! The only rights illegal immigrants have in law are basic human rights. Everything else is a gratuity afforded by the state in which the immigrants live.

You, on the other hand, are entitled to every right and privilege any other American is. If you have no job and no money, you have the right to make a welfare claim. If you lose your job by no fault of your own, you have the right to claim unemployment benefit. If you are old, you have the right to receive Medicare and a government-funded pension. If you are young, you have the right to a state-funded education, the right to be protected and not neglected. You have equal rights in employment, housing and voting. You have the right to marry anyone of the opposite sex who is not your immediate relative. You have the right to a basic standard of medical care. You have the right to personal privacy, to own property, to own and carry a firearm (with the same limitations as others), the right to free speech, the right to congregate, to worship your religion freely even if it's some two-person howling at the moon cult, the right to protest peacefully, the right to run for political office.

You even have the right to ask stupid questions on this forum.

Seriously, I wish I could sit at my paid for home all day popping out babies and spending government money on gold windshield wipers. Let alone break laws and just get a slap on the hand.

All people are born equal but some people are more equal than others. That George Orwell quote answers your question i think.

Last time I checked,'illegals' can't receive benefits. Now, whoever u noticed receiving benefits probably is applying for citizenship and has a green card. This is not an illegal.
