How do i get a prick or what ever it is out of my finger?

i pricked my finger the other day on this spikey bush but i got something stuck in my finger. How do i get it out?

Soak your finger in hot water and then see if you can get the spike out with a needle which has been flamed at the end.

I'm afraid the usual way is using a needle ( thats been sterilised in a flame or boiling water) to try to ease the offending bit out of your finger. I'm afraid it hurts quite a bit at the time but feels much better once you get it!

Alternatively you could try covering the area with magnesium sulphate paste (from local pharmacy) which is to help draw the offending bit to the surface to make it easier to remove.
