Ok well... I know this is going to sound like the typical question that you would find on this kind of website, but I've got relationship issues. I want a boyfriend, but I've got straight A's and don't want a relationship getting in the way of school. I think of the worst possibility where we would break up, then I'd get depressed and wouldn't be able to focus or something. That is kind of extreme for someone like me, but hey, it could happen. Or, maybe I'm just ugly and that's why I don't have a boyfriend. If you can find a question to answer in this, then feel free to. Maybe I just needed to type this to get some thoughts out of my head. Anyways... thanks!

You seem to have objective views regarding this issue. So, put it into perspective. If education is important to you (which it is) then you should focus on that. You have your whole life ahead of you. You will certainly find out who you are as you progress & then meet someone you want to be with. Don't get into a realtionship because it's the "thing to do". be yourself, & with the right attitude, in the end you'll be better off than those who choose a lesser path. Hope this makes sense & helps you out.

You let school come first than think about a boy and you are doing more than great in school so go ahead and get a boyfriend maybe that is what you need to clear your mind and team work is never a bad thing. maybe he can answer some of your questions that maybe on your mind. think about this be for you make a choice.

Good for you for approaching this rationally. You may want to find someone who values educational success the way you do, that way you can study together and both of you will understand if the other one has to put extra time into homework. I doubt it has to do with looks. Good luck - I'm sure you'll find a great guy.

i know what you mean.. i have dropping grades and i dont' have time to focus on a boy and my grades.. but before, i thought i was ugly because guys never showed interest in me.. then one of my friends overheard a conversation... someone said "you should as her out" talking about me and the other guys said "dude, i'd never have a chance with her"... im here thinking im ugly but really, my grades (they used to be good) intimidated guys and they thought that i would never go out with them..

thats probably the case with you!

hun, ur not ugly. no1 is. some r ugly on the inside which sorta affects their outer beauty. but, if ur beutiful on the inside ur most certainly beautiful on the outside. so dont ever let ANY1 tell u ur ugly cuz ur a beautiful, smart, talented girl, and ANY boy would be lucky 2 be ur boyfriend.
