"Instead of getting stuck into the more liberal majority they attack other believers who apparently share the same beliefs. Weird or what?" Is the skillet is calling the kettle black here?
The primary reason this just isn't possible is pretty obvious to me. Christian belief centers on the deity and work of Christ on the cross for the redemption of man's sins. Islam rejects both the deity of Christ and the need for His redemptive work, as does Judaism. Judaism rejects the Koran, quite understandable in light of the fact that it contradicts the Torah; Islam believes in converting the "heathen" by sword if necessary (see the Book of Repentance in the Koran); Judaism believes Jesus was a bastard, heathen, and a traitor. The list could go on and on, but the obvious fact is that, while all three religions do share some similarities, the most important facets of each are incompatible.
Regarding what you perceive as intolerance and bigotry, perhaps you should take a long look at yourself and the diatribe you write. You ask for acceptance and tolerance while giving none. The wording of your "question" is dripping with animosity and disgust and I find myself questioning your motive in writing it.
In any event, God's Word makes it clear that we are to love one another as Christ loved us. It also instructs us to hate what God hates, which is sin. Discernment must be used to hate the sin while loving the sinner. But because we are human and all fall short of the glory of God, we often err and many people of ALL religions and faiths have made a mockery of that which they claim to believe. Does this nullify Christianity? Not at all; it only proves that imperfect men err.

Because they are not compatible.
Judaism does not believe in the written scripts absolutely without interpretation, one of our holy books is nothing BUT interpretation written by rabbis over the centuries. Judaism does not believe unbelievers go to hell because we don't believe in hell, we believe everyone has a place in Paradise if one is a good person. In Judaism, sex is actually a mitzvah (good deed) especially when done on the Sabbath, and gay marriage is legalized in Israel. Judaism believes that Leviticus mean that sodomy is abhorred by G-d, NOT the love between a man and a man or a woman and a woman. Circumcision is a sign of the covenant with G-d--only Jews have to be circumcised. The Torah actually supports evolution. We do work on Sundays, we do not work on Saturdays. Judaism has made some of the biggest contributions to science--a large numbers of Nobel prize winners are Jewish, and we don't attack people who believe differently from us unless they are Jewish (and not of our same observance level--human trait) or unless they are trying to get us to convert to their religion.
So, there you go, all your points are pretty much null.

The broad generalizations you just made asking your question are amazing.
As a Christian fundamentalist, I take exception to your statement that I have anything in common with say, and Islamic fundamentalist. (Other than fundamentalism.) Their source (The Qur'an) is vastly different than mine (The Bible). Their belief system is diametrically opposed to mine.
Besides, it is the liberal who has abandoned the faith by inserting their feelings into their beliefs, rather than accepting at face value the Scriptural truth.
If the Bible is not true in its details, why should we bother at all? I'd just as soon join the Rotary Club. The demands are fewer, and the benefits occur in the here and now.

THwey believe in different fundamental issues.
eg Jesus is the Son of God (Christians)
Allah is one, he did not beget neither was he begotten. (Islam)
Totally different.
It is the Christian Scriptures that say 'There is neither male nor female' (ie no Distinction) so why say they are against liberated women? There are no foof restrictions in Christianity so why imply there are.
I am a Christian and am VERY keen on sex, as is my wife.
I was active in working for the repeal of laws that made homosexuality a crime...along with many other Christians.
Suggest you check your 'facts' prior to writing rather than afterwards..

I have to disagree regarding Muslims and the Quran. I personally don't agree with a single word of the christian bible, but at least it's always stayed the same. Whereas, how many copies of the Quran are there? It must change every 10 years or so. Every time a new muslim/islamic leader comes in, he changes the quran. Not so fundamental after all ...

Fundamentalism.
Now if only they could agree on which Divine being to worship... I wonder if they all know they've been worshipping the same God all their lives.
But what's in a name? Surely a Rose with any other name would smell just as sweet? And surely an Allah with any other name would be worshipped just as much.

Because being a fundamentalist or traditionalist means you believe fundamentally that you are right and everyone else is wrong. Simply put the mind set doesn't lean itself to talking to people with different points of view, let alone getting along with them long enough to form a religion.

Yes, while all three religions have the same roots and started with the same true God, most of them, even the Christians, have long ago gone astray from the original teachings given by God through HIS holy prophets.

Because while they may share some beliefs, they also have some critically different views of what truth is. Much of what you state is not correct.
