Oh, yes! I wondered about these things a lot, until I found answers in ECKANKAR.

a) I am a child of God who He loves dearly as every other child.
b) I am here to learn, by practical experience, divine love, so that I can understand God's ways.
c) I will return home to God in order to assist or co-work with Him.
This, in a nutshell, is our ultimate destiny which is unchangeable.

I can't imagine anyone who hasn't asked him/herself those questions at some point in their lives. I have asked myself these questions. I have many possible answers, but each answer brings about new questions and there's a myriad of possibility, IMO. But I believe I'm a spiritual being living a within and bound by a physical body. I believe I'm here randomly, because my parents had sex. Where I'm going (in life) is up to me. When I die, I've concluded I'll go back to all that is (the source of life). I'll break back down into the natural elements from whence I came. Though I'd like to believe that my consciousness will live on as part of the universal consciousness. I also think reincarnation would be a cool thing. Of course what I'd like to believe and what I have evidence to believe are two different things. :)

To be human means to at some point question our existence. Almost everyone does this at some time in their lives.

Everyone has to find their own path. Some people discover something that works for them, that gives their life meaning. This is good. What is bad, is when these same people try to force their discovery upon other people.

Of course death is very difficult for humans to accept. We all seem to have an in-born impulse to wonder and reflect, and it's hard to accept that someday our lives will end.

But they do. So we try to invent explanations which ease our pain and fear. But whatever Power there might be, didn't choose for us to know what's after death, if anything.

Still, life s so beautiful and so precious, that if this was all there is, then it would still be worth living life to its fullest.

Of course I have. Who hasn't? I think most likely I am here because I am a fragment of pure consciousness itself, ie God, who fragmented itself simply for the sake of experience - that pain/pleasure is a false dichotomy and experience itself is a continuum, and we're here just for the "adventure" of it, the drama, the story...the creativity of life. I believe I'm going...after death...to another existence, another experience that is very different from this one, but that sometimes contacts this one (I've had experiences with ghosts/premonitions/telepathy etc.)

Who am i?
I think that "me" -ID- of my body.
some intelligent cells in my brain creating this illusion of consciousness, freedom ... etc.

Why here?
I am just a result of millions of years of an evolutionary path, to be honest. i didn't choose to be here thus can't ask (Why).

Where going?
Why do i think life ends with death?
As i have stated before. this (me) is only a result of certain combination of brain cells came from my father and mother and exposed to certain experiences that created this illusion of difference from the surrounding.

thus, when these cells no longer working together. for sure there will no more be me, nor life!

Good question, first where i am going, in 1 John 5:13 it says we may "KNOW" that we have eternal life. Who am i, a child of God, in Isa.9:6 it gives this:
9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
In that list of names given to Jesus Father is A name given to Him, in mark 14:36 it gives the name ABBA which means pappa or daddy, The Godhead wants us, YOU to look on Him as that, we are His child, and IF i am BE-LIVING in Him Loving Him enough as it says in John 14:15 "IF" you Love me keep my commandments. SO i am here to witness to folks like yourself, the last verses of Matthew in red letters says GO "YE" into all the world making deciples of all people... and that is why we are here, free bible lessons learn more www.amazingfacts.org bible questions www.bibleinfo.com talk to me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless

I am a chosen son of God and a new creation.

The purpose of my creation is to help those in my sphere of influence to turn to God. If they do not know Him to help them to discover Him. If they have accepted the free gift of grace it is to help them have a richer and more complete personal one on one relationship with the Living God. It is while doing this that I am to help them to discover and pursue the purpose of their creation. Everyone is created and formed for a purpose. No one is an accident, ever.

I am going to continue having a personal realationship with my heavenly Father and Creator for eternity. When this physical realm, the universe, passes away I will still be with my Dad in the spiritual realm, a.k.a. heaven.

I don't know many people who don't ponder these questions.

As for my life ending...of course it will end with death. I don't really know any other way....

Sorry! Just had to put the sarcasm in there. :)

*Ah, and I still have not come to any conclusions.

I am a human being living to die to return eventually to the Earth; as all things do when they decay. (all 3 questions answered in one sentence, what do you know!)
