I have a persistant dry cough that comes around once an hour for 5 minutes. I have a burning pain when i breathe in and it gets worse when i cough. I may or may not have a fever (no thermometer) but my skin feels like i have a fever and i have a bad head ache. Are these just symptoms of a cold or is this something more serious?

I would say that it is just a cold, but if it keeps up for over a week, I would go and see a doctor.

I noticed that your username is mommy2be, if you're pregnant, go and see a doctor right away!

Ok as in the last question i answered I said this too.

Advil cures headaches. Tylenol is too weak. I tried both at different times, Tylenol did nothing once. Advil is best for any aches.

Benedryl helps with the sleep. But, dont take this with anything else.
Rest is best for any illness lol.

if it is real persistent, and I were you, after trying other meds, I'd take some Alkaseltzer Plus!

If all else fails see your Doc..

If you do see your Doc, ask about a perscription to rid the nasty bugger of an illness. lol. (Sounds like bronchitis to me)

Hi, It sounds like you may have bronchitis. I use to get this all the time when I was smoking but not so much since I have quit. if you have had it longer then 7 days I strongly suggest you see a Dr. . You may need some antibiotics.

Fell better Soon

Wow.
Do you have a doctor?
Do you think he's on Yahoo Answers?
Probably not.
Why don't you pay him a visit?
