It's called a migrane it's the worst type of headache and they are painful I would reccomend taking tylenol extra strength 2 every 4 to 6 hours or try some excedrin migrane take 2 every 4 to 8 hours then go lie down in a dark place avoiding light and close your eyes and take a small nap then when you wake up your headache will be gone.

I used to get these headaches all the time at school they are called tension headaches, stiff neck and pain behind your eyes in forehead similar to migraine, I used to get these from not drinking enough water, i,m pretty sure that was the main cause and stress and anxiety are factors too. Just drink your two litres of spring water a day, soda is bad for them i've found, take the strongest pain killer available over the counter ask for a combined Analgesic with PARECETEMOL,CODEINE and DOXYLAMINE this will relieve your pain and contains antihistamine which will help you sleep. Panalgesic its called in Australia, if cant find it ask for those three ingridients listed above. If headaches persist try massage especially to releive tightness/ knots in the neck, check your eyesight at optometrist, if accompanied by bad fever please seek doctors opinion. If these headaches are persistent good idea to see a doctor possibly about getting a stronger painkiller(analgesic) if the pain is unbearable. Drink plenty of water it is important thats why im mentioning it again. Do check with doctor about sinuses case these other people reckon that is the problem so should check that out. I still think it sounds more like a tension headache/ mild migraine but i could well be wrong. i hope you feel better.

I can tell you this much, Sinuses are weird. I get sinus-itis all the time lol. Especially when pollen is pretty bad. My head will hurt in different places each time.
try resting for a bit or napping. Sleep is my best solution for an illness. I would stay home and sleep from school if I thought it was too bad. I also took some Alkaseltzer Plus!
I also recommend an advil. Tylenol is too weak for headaches. I figured that out in an experiment. I tried both at different times, Tylenol once didnt do anything. But, take benedryl for sleeping, god that stuff is amazing! Lol.

Sinuses - could be algeries, a cold coming on, or a sinus infection. Try taking a Sudafed (the real stuff, not the PE stuff).
It would be a migraine if the ache was located more toward your temple, near your eye. Light and noise would be making you crazy right now and you'd likely feel sick to your stomach.

It sounds like it is probably your sinuses. Have you had a cold recently, or do you have allergies?
