The best place for any best man to get material for his speech (also known as a toast) is from his heart. Usually the best man shares a few happy or poignant memories that are associated with the groom and himself, in this case, yourself. Obviously you must be good friends or he would have asked someone else to be his best man.
A few good jokes never hurt, but then you want to get more serious and give like a blessing to the newlyweds towards the end of your toast. One of the nicest toasts I have ever heard from a best man was when he went from the bride to the groom in sharing how each complemented the other with their unique strengths. Both the bride and groom were blessed, as was each person at the reception.
You'll do fine. Ask your friend for ideas too. Talk about some warm and wild memories you have shared in common and ask him if there is anything he would prefer you not talk about! Have fun! Annie

I would not suggest any sexual drunk stories about y'all and your past. Definitely welcome the new wife into your group of friends. She will appreciate the sincerity.
