Don't do a wedding cake. I am doing a chocolate fountain with bananas, strawberries, pound cake, marshmellows (for the kids) and graham crackers. Then on the tables, 15 of them. I am doing mini cakes on the tables so they can cut them and eat at their will. That way the servers won't have to worry about if no one got cake. It is a neat idea because I found a cake pan that has 6 mini cakes on it that are shaped like sunflowers and daisies. I think it will be really cute. That way, no one will miss us cutting the cake and all. If you have any problems looking for a cake, this is what I would do. But go to your baker and ask. Or your florist may know people because flowers usually make up your cake. Good luck!!!

If you can get over the stigma, the large chain grocery stores & Walmart have good cakes & excellant decorators.
Some might even do this as a side job so quietly ask them.
Also ask around.
To save money get a smaller wedding cake & have sheet cakes made in the wedding cake flavor.

Some facilities include the cake in your reception costs - check that out.
Otherwise, I would head over to your local bakery. In the event they don't make wedding cakes they might be able to refer you.

Check out your local grocery stores with a bakery inside. We got a very yummy cake at Albertson's, and they even delivered it to the reception site.

hi only relax! you're only 3 weeks married and already all started feeling the discomfort ? analyzing the whole incident you have written i think that's not purely him it somewhat is behaving like BF/GF relation yet you too. as quickly as you get married issues replace somewhat and that's the accountability of the two husband and spouse to comprehend each and each others moods/emotions/time table/priority each and every thing. He needed you to attend his pal's son's bday social gathering as a newly married husband he envisioned you to declare specific (he had to coach off together with his new spouse).. You have been drained after wellbeing club so did no longer pass there yet then replaced your techniques and went ( you will have skipped the wellbeing club for that nighttime to attend the social gathering or would have counseled him till now going to the social gathering so as that he would not have felt he made a fool out of himself there)... unpredicted kin and so on and so on would not have felt a burden in case you the two weren't quarreling with one yet another.... If I have been you i could attempt to tell him sorry by employing putting a card in his closet/bathing room as quickly as he's abode and attempt to forget approximately what has occurred and only get alongside using fact i like him.. it is totally a small situation and for that itself you're feeling you made a mistake ? He ought to have fgt the hoop ? as quickly as you attempt to patch up with him locate out why he did that ( i wager he could on no account think of of taking it off his hand back)... you would be dealing with many demanding circumstances in life and every time you won't be able to easily end struggling with like this and feeling undesirable abt marrying all jointly. Shrug off that Ego , that's alright to run into his palms and remind him which you the two love one yet another....

As for where to go locally, check out the local boards at http://talk.theknot.com and they can tell who is good and who is not so you can do tastings. Otherwise look through the phone book under bakeries, and again do taste tests before you sign any contracts.
