How long does it take to recieve my refund if i filed electronically(feb. 21 exact)?

If you requested direct deposit, you should of had your refund on March 2. If you had them mail you a check, then they would mail it on March 9th--according to the IRS efile chart---here is the link:

Since it is obviously way past the time you should of already had your refund, I would suggest going to the IRS Where's My Refund site and checking your status to see when they said you were going to be issued a refund. There may be a delay if your return is under review. Here's the link:

Even if you did not elect direct deposit, you should of had your check in the mail way before now! You may want to call the IRS and ask them about it as well.

The IRS is trying to have taxpayers’ refunds back within 10 days if they file electronically and provide a bank account number into which the refund can be deposited. If you file electronically, the IRS says it takes around 3 weeks to mail your refund check. If you file your tax return by mail, it takes around 6 weeks for them to mail your refund.

Go to www.irs.gov and look at the left of the screen. Under the Online Tools section you will see a link for "Where's My Refund". You will be asked some standard information about your return and they will tell you the approximate date your refund should get to you.

I live in Michigan and I got my federal back in three weeks and the state I still have not gotten. I e-filed on January 31st.
