I wouldn't make a big deal of it. You know how people like to talk, and confronting her is not going to help the situation. She's your aunt and you know how family members always like to make the bf out to be the bad guy.

There may be some truth in what she is saying about bf ruling you. Take this as a suggestion and determine for yourself if this is true. Every one has a right to the opinion and you have yours. Good luck.

Maybe your aunt can see things more clearly cause she's not involved with your boyfriend. Maybe you should step back and take a better look, then make up your mind.

Anyone who eavesdrops will always hear something they don't like.
Are you upset that she could be right? She is entitled to her own opinions, and you are entitled to date who you want to.
So prove her wrong, don't worry about it.

If she tells you this herself then, let her know what your doing, but if some one else is telling you this, then blow it off, that's how roomers get started.
