Not surprising. When the Jews and Christians around him realized how little he knew about their religions and some of the goofy things he said about them, he started to say this sort of thing because they wouldn't stop making fun of him.

Most religions have this. It amounts to a copyright warning. Some kind of legal doublespeak anyway.
I will take that warning to heart and be sure never to read the Quran, just in case I make a mistake. It is better to be sure, isn't it ?
