So I used to talk with this girl in a class 2 years ago, and we haven't really talked much since then [little bit last year, and like 2 short conversations this year, with a few greets in the halls]. I like her, and I keep switching sides on whether or not I think she likes me or not. She's said hi and acted friendly as much as I have, but other times we see eachother coming at eachother from opposite sides of the halls, and she sees me and finds an excuse not to look at me. It seems like sometimes she wants me to say something, and other times not. Is there something I'm missing here?

If you want to know if she likes you then I would think the best thing to do would be to let her know that you like her and find out if she feels the same
do not use someone else to ask for you...could get mixed up...just approach her in the hall yourself

sometimes girls don't wanna act like they want the guy to say somethin b/c they think it would seem lame, but they always do want the guy to say somethin. it seems like both of you have been sending mixed signals to eachother,since you both don't talk much, so next time you see her ask if she wants to go get something to eat or something like that. that way you will be able to sit down and talk and get all of your feelings straight. good luck

First, build a little self respect and confidence. Second, do what ever the hell you want because your the man. If she likes you, fine, if not the new attitude will do wonders for your social life. This doesn't mean be a d*#k.

one thing is a lot of women dont make the first move. she might want to she if you are man enough to move first. a lot of females like for a man to take control sometimes its nothing wrong with that. and another thing is she just might be as nervous as you are to say something first. just make a move because if you dont you could lose a person that might could have been you soulmate for life.

yes. you are missing the part where you act friendly and respectfully with a bit of humor and you don't care much about 'signals'. leave her to answer or not to answer to look at you or not to look at you as she wishes. she'll notice and she'll like you even more. guaranteed.

She really wants to talk to u and to look at you but she doesnt know how to go about it. at first she gets the feeling that she wants to talk to you then she gets nervous and dosnt. so you will have to make the move to talk to her again and she will no doubt respond.
