I want to know if there is a program out there that will show me every file and/or registry entry added when installing a new program and where the file/registry entry is put on my pc. Thanks in advance!

Well to start with, you can't see hidden files, that's why they are hidden. If you want to know all the programs on your computer and all the updates, go to Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel and check the Show updates box at the top. This gives you all updates, versions, etc.

You also can't see registry entries, that's why registry editing is not encouraged for anyone other than computer programmers. If you were a programmer, you would already know how to do this.

There are many registry programs, so I won't talk about that.

To track the files, select all files on your pc and change the date and time to the same info. When the new program installs, see which ones are NOT that exact date and time! Go to downloads.com or similar to file a utility to do this.
