the large foam ones do good. It is only temporary. I know it is hard to curl your own hair. I had long straight hair down to my but. You can also try the hot rollers. those dont take as long. have a girlfriend help you. then you can do something with her hair.

Stop using the foam rollers. The sponge dries out the hair and causes it to break off. Buy the snap on magnetic plastic rollers. You can wet set your hair with the plastic rollers and apply a little setting lotion to the ends. your culs will be firm, loose, bouncy and plenty of shine and body. Do not use foam. Buy the jumbo size rollers and add more hair to each roller and roll half way up or just roll the ends for loose curls.

I would forget the rollers and go for a large barreled curling iron. You can wrap sections of your hair down the barrel in a spiral pattern and get the results you are after.

Set hair vertically with small rollers.
