I am looking for a free file copy tool or file manager which can copy files and directories selected from a directory tree in a single batch. Just like ntbackup.exe (integrated Windows Backup), but just for copying files and dirs.
There are loads of free file managers ( http://download-ecke.de/nonags/fileman.html ), but does anyone know which one can do that?

I haven't found a good freeware program that has that functionality; however, I do know of a good shareware program that has functionality for a trial period that can do the job for you.

My favorite is Beyond Compare. It allows you to copy, mirror, move, etc .. files from one location to another. http://www.scootersoftware.com

It has a good GUI, but it also has a good command line tool that I have used to batch sync directories between networked computers and servers.

If you like it, then it's not that expensive, $30 for a personal license which you can use on any number of computers. I've kept a personal license for a number of years now use it on a weekly, even daily, basis.
