Perhaps it is the strength through numbers principle.
Yes cells are essentially destined to die from the moment they are formed. The way to become stronger is to add more cells. One trillion living and working cells are stronger than one million living and working cells. The way to add more cells, specifically, "muscle cells" is through exercise.

Cells are also being created every day. From a physical standpoint, if you are young, you should be getting stronger all the time. At any age, you can get stronger spiritually through meditation.
Water is good visualization. Water always takes the shape of its container (always changes to fit the situation).

Cells die and replenish everyday. Standard issue cycle of life.

Epinephrine..the flight or fight cortico-steroid (I think) is what kicks in when faced with danger...a fight, etc.

For me, when mine kicks in, I don't get stronger, I get louder and much more verbose. Words come out my mouth that I didn;'t know I was thinking of. Something else takes over and makes amazing sense. That in turn makes me more aggressive then I normally would be.

I get my chi from my own power. I allow my inner chi to replenish that which I need externally. I never, ever give my power away.
