I've taken Toradol injections. It's much harder than giving myself insulin because Toradol is a deep muscle injection. Th needles are larger and longer. You need to be instructed in how to jab yourself with the needle. Usually, the nurse has you practice on an orange because it simulates skin. Any injection:
First draw back on the needle;then insert needle into rubber stopper of medicine vial.Next plunge air from needle into bottle. And you need to hold the vial rubber seal side facing down, needle up into it. Then draw back medicine into needle.Usually the Toradol needles have a limit to what you can draw into them. After the right dosage is in needle, pull it out of the vial.Tap the plastic tube near the sharp side to get air bubbles into end.(you've probably seen nurses do this on doctor shows) Then squirt just a bit out of the end to release the bubble.
The pharmacy also carries Toradol shots pre-filled and you get a tiny end needle that screws onto the base. These are the easiest types to use. Good luck!

Toradol needs to be given either intravenously or intramuscularly.

Either one is a very bad choice for an outpatient. In 18 years of doing this, I have only seen this happen once. The patient was married to a physician.

I strongly suspect that your doc intended to prescribe the oral form. Have the Pharmacist check the original prescription and verify it with your doc.

When God is first calling you the effects can be incredible. Goosebumps are often a result. Often as Christians mature they long for the feeling they had when God first answered their prayers. Why is this? Perhaps it is God's way of letting doubters know he truly exists. Do you read the Bible? If not, or you have and never understood it, try again. It is amazing how God can open your eyes, and you will begin to understand concepts that seemed foreign to you before. Know this. God exists. I have experienced him first hand so many times that I no longer have any doubts. He is not a myth, not only does he deliver peace into your life, he delivers eternal life into your future. He is not a jailer, he brings freedom to deny Satan's temptations and the death he brings.

You need to call you doctors office and let them know. You need to know how often to use the injections. I am surprised the pharmacy even fill the prescripiton with out any instructions. If it is not pre-mesured you aslo need to to how much to draw up.

This is a serious oversight. Please, don't let anyone tell you how to administer Toradol except the doctor who prescribed it. Call him right now. If he/she is not immediately available, ask for the charge nurse, explain the situation and request prompt call back from the doctor.

I suppose the doctor wanted you to bring back the meds to him after you purchased them so that he could give them to you properly. Unless you are medical professional also, how on earth would you know how to inject yourself?

I think you really should call your doctor for the answer. Nobody on here knows your diagnosis or medical history, just getting random medical advice is dangerous.CALL YOUR DOCTOR!!!!
