Yes I lay on the tanning bed and I even get freckles on my toes. It is the same as laying in the sun except it takes less time. I dont know about moles. I still have a good tan even with the freckles.

Not necessarily. I used to tan all the time, and want to start back. It is somewhat addicting once you start. It makes a person feel better somehow. Just be careful due to the "rays" that you watch for skin cancer. Happy tanning.

yes, they can also give you skin cancer, like the sun. Don't use tanning beds, go out in the sun instead. And wear lots of sunscreen. One of my good friends mom died from skin cancer that she got from going tanning, so please don't do it.
