A little alcohol or baby oil on a cotton ball. I prefer the baby oil as the alcohol is so drying. If you don't have either, try anything oily like peanut butter or even butter.

Baby oil should do the trick. Rub baby oil on it until it starts to gum up then gently rub with a warm cloth. Be careful around the area that is healing. good luck

I used non-acetone nail polish remover. Works wonders without tearing up skin with harsh chemicals.
