Aloe Vera straight from the plant works the best. I've had dozens of sunburns growing up in Arizona and nothing works as well as cutting off a piece of aloe vera and rubbing it on the burn. It usually takes the sting out of it by the next day. It also helps by moisturizing your skin to keep you from peeling.

Vitamin E is the best remedy. It pulls the burn out of the skin and also conditions the skin. Once the burn or hot feeling is gone, but aloe on it to protect the new skin. Make sure you use high SPF sunscreen when in the sun, especially if you already have a burn.
My doctor told me that putting aloe staight away on a burn is not good for it. It will hold the heat in your skin and make it seem worse. Use the vitamin E until the heat is gone and then put the aloe on. Never put aloe on a new burn!

the best thing is Aloe Vera Gel its usually green and it is a gel. Keep it in the fridge. It cools it right off and feels good! It also is supposed to help it from peeling your skin when the burn fades. Next time you might want to try some sunscreen!!!

try to find an aloe plant and break open a leaf. also, put noxema in the freezer for a little while to get it cold, and then rub it on. you don't have to wash it off like you would if you were using it as a cleanser. then palmer's coco butter once it starts to get better.

Cold aloe vera - either the plant itself (just break off a spike and rub the sap in) or from a bottle.
