There are many problems with the salvation-by works doctrine of reincarnation. First, there are many practical problems. For example:
1. We must ask, why does one get punished for something he or she cannot remember having done in a previous life?
2. If the purpose of karma is to rid humanity of its selfish desires, then why hasn't there been a noticeable improvement in human nature after all the millennia of reincarnations?
3. If reincarnation and the law of karma are so beneficial on a practical level, then how do advocates of this doctrine explain the immense and ever-worsening social and economic problems - including widespread poverty, starvation, disease, and horrible suffering - in India, where reincarnation has been systematically taught through out its history?
There are also many biblical problems with believing in reincarnation. For example, in 2 Corinthians 5:8 the apostle Paul states, "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord." At death, the, the Christian immediately goes into the presence of the Lord, not into another body. In keeping with this. Luke 16:19-31 tells us that unbelievers at death go to a place of suffering, not into another body.
Further, Hebrews 9:27 assures us that "man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." Each human being LIVES ONCE as a mortal on earth, DIES ONCE, and then FACES JUDGMENT. He does not have a second chance by reincarnating into another body.

Yes I do. How do we explain it when we meet somebody and feel like we've always known them, or even take an instant disliking to them? Or the feeling of deja vu.
I remember when I went to France years ago. The moment I stood in Paris I felt like I was "at home". I'd never been there before, and I felt like I knew that place.
There was one part of France I went to as well, it was like a huge field with trees everywhere, and I just seemed to know there was a lake behind the trees. I walked to the end of the field, came out passed the trees and there was a lake. Again, I'd never been there before.
I'm not too sure about hypnosis/regression. When you're in a state like that, it's very easy for you to be open to suggestion from what the person is saying to you, so it's in your subconscience to say certain things.

I wish I could believe in it so far, but for now I'm torn between two beliefs. Yes, I believe in certain supernatural things, and I also believe in the logical, scientific explanation for those supernatural things.
Reincarnation goes against that second belief of mine so therefore I can't possibly believe in it. Because I already believe that every trait we have, our personality etc, even memories, comes from our genes, which are passed on from parent to child and kept strictly within the family. The belief of reincarnation goes against that, and says that you can 'inherit' the soul of a complete stranger from a far away country who you have no relation to whatsoever. So basically reincarnation is like a lottery.
My logical mind just can't get past that, even though it's gotten past most supernatural phenomena.
What I do believe is that souls can pass on within families - but looking at it from that point of view it's more like the memory of a certain lineage is passed on in another lineage and milennia later you meet someone from the lineage that is remembered by your lineage and you recognise them as a soulmate.

Recycling is a part of nature...Reincarnation is just a recycling of spiritual energy. Yes, I do believe in reincarnation. Yes, I know that people can remember stuff from their past lives, some can without hypnotism.

No, No, and No!
Reincarnation is a fabrication of people who are dissatisfied with their lives. As far as past life regression goes, I can think of three different possibilities:
1. It's a fraud.
2. Past life regression (hypnotism) may allow an evil spirit some limited access to controlling a person.
3. We existed as spirits before being born and we may have been allowed to watch events on earth as they occurred.

No unless you count all the souls getting ressurected on Judgement Day. Then I believe in that. But as for people dying and being reincarnated as new human beings no I don't believe in that.

I believe it's true. It's also a great part of some religions. There is a growing body of evidence to support it.
You can check outh the American Society for psychical research, which does a great deal fo scientific investigation in this area.

Honestly... no.
Hypnosis and mind altering gimmicks are merely an attempt by Satan to get us farther away from the truth.
The Bible tells us that we are appointed ONCE to die. Not twice or thrice or a dozen. That means we are created with a single purpose in this life.

Who knows if it's true? :\
I for one, would like to believe in reincarnation. If God is so omnipotent and really wants to see everyone get into Heaven, then he'll give people as many chances as they possibly need to learn morality and humanity.
I'm not going the "gives people enough chances to believe in Him" route, because personally, I don't think that's what life should be about. Sure, He created us, but would I rather give eternal happiness to a jerk who trips people for fun and steals candy from babies, but at least, believes in me, or would I rather give that eternal happiness to a person who's truly kind-hearted and does the best for everyone, but doesn't believe in me? ...I don't know, tough call. :|
So yeah, let that jerk live another life time, and try and learn from his/her mistake.
