I was eating at a restaurnant when I ran into a girl I went to highschool with, she was waitresing, anyways she recognized me and came over and talked for a few minutes, as she was heading back to work I asked her for her number and she gave it to me, but I don't know if I should call her for a date since she might have a boyfriend or could've just been trying to be polite, what do you guys think?

It doesn't matter what WE think, you need to call her and ask her. Presumably she wouldn't have given you her number if she is involved in a serious relationship. Chat and ask her before you ask her on a date. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Good luck.

Absolutely call her! She approached you.... she gave you the number... since you're an old acquaintance I'm sure that if she was actually 'seeing someone' she'd have mentioned it.

well, i think you should ring her up, and ask to meet up as "friends". that way, ya will get to know her better and find out if she has a boyfriend. if she doesn't stay friends, and one day ya never know, if she hasn't got a boyfriend, go for it, what can you lose? Good Luck x

you should talk to her more and find out the stuff u want to know like if she is seeing someone. if not, feel free to ask her out but do it casually. ask her if you'd like to grab a milkshake or something sometime. (but on the 1st date...don't start making out with her. i had that happen to me once and i dumped that guy!!!)
