I totally agree with you, we eat at the table every night....good for you. Dinner should never be eaten infront of the TV, we don't even have it playing in the background.

Well, given that my computer and peripheries are on the dining table and I'm always in front of the thing, I'd have to say .... breakfast - always ... dinner ... frequently but tea ... hardly ever, I normally time tea with my favourite programme ... THE LAST EVER STARGATE tonight in half an hour, tomorrow it's Stargate Atlantis. If there's nothing I fancy watching, I'm a Blockbuster member and will have tea when I'm hungry and watch a DVD, which, at the minute alternates between Babylon 5 and Rome.
I live by myself, if I had a family it would probably be different, in my last house, I had two dining tabels and when the bairns (nieces and nephews) came to visit, we'd sit at the table.

I think its a great idea to have family time and eat dinner at the table but we rarely do. Maybe 2 times a week and usually we end up eating int he living room on the fold up tv tables. We are rarely home at the same time for dinner since he works late and I have work and school.

My Husband, Daughter and myself eat at the table every night. I find that is the best way for us to communicate as a family and discuss how our days have been. Eating in front of the T.V means that people don't usually talk to each other and miss out on the basic enjoyment of conversation.

Every night of the week, my husband , me and our 2 year old daughter sit at the table to eat. I see no need to sit in front of the tv to eat.

Every time I have company. Sometimes when I eat alone, I do succumb and eat from a tray, but it's not often. I love setting the table for dinner, with candles, napkins etc. Food seems to taste so much better.

in view that having youngsters, i'm conscious that the wholesome factor to do is to take a seat around the table at the same time as a kinfolk and concentration on the meal and on one yet another. properly our eating room chairs are wood and so uncomfortable, so in many circumstances I confess I nonetheless pass take a seat on the settee this is interior the kinfolk room (there is not any television in there nevertheless). My husband is gloomy that I try this by way of fact he truly appreciates a wholesome kinfolk meal too. so as in many circumstances as i will submit to it, i attempt to connect the kinfolk on those difficult wood chairs. Come to think of of it, we consume out at eating places plenty, so as that removes the television difficulty too. yet my youngsters are youthful, and my husband isn't quite some a conversationalist, so we spend quite some our meal time zoning out, eating our nutrition, and in specific circumstances correcting the infants, or listening a million/2-heartedly at our 6-year-old's banter.
