I'm so sick and tired of hearing how great these bums are.

Ric - both these bums have quit in fights - Vitali against Byrd (shoulder, my a*s, Ali fought ten rounds with a broken jaw), and his worthless brother against the great Ross Puritty, before being dropped by 38 year old Corrie Sanders in two. Sanders, who had fought three rounds in five years and was thirty pounds lighter.
Oh, and let's not forget the three knockdowns agains Peters.
Theyre bums.

Ric - please, I don't care what Vitali Klitschko does outside of the ring. I couldn't give a sh*t if he found a cure for cancer, the fact remains that inside the ropes hes a well schooled amateur at best.
You bring up the Lewis fight - lets not forget that the cut didn't magically appear there - an out of shape, huffing and puffing Lennox Lewis put it there.
As bad as Lewis looked in that fight, Klitschko STILL couldnt put him away. Had that fight continued, Lewis would have split his whole head open.
The fact that both these bums quit proves one thing - they have no heart.
You're right, there was no robbery in the Peter fight, Klitschko clearly won, but the fact that he got knocked on his a*s three times speaks volumes about the prospects for his longevity as champ.
You talk about rematches - what did you see in the legalized mugging that Sanders inflicted on Klitschko that makes you think there will be any different kind of outcome in a rematch?

Ric - I knew you'd bring up Duran. Let's not forget that he came back to win two more world titles in two different divisions. He more than redeemed himself.
Anyway you cut it, the Klitschkos are garbage.

Yeah, Vitali is REAL useless. 35 wins 34 by way of knock out, only being stopped on cuts in a fight he was winning against Lewis, who he then made retire, and dropping one to Byrd, who he again was winning against until his shoulder popped. Which required surgery. After which Wladimire clowned his butt twice. Viatli is in no way shape or form "useless". I have no idea why you would call him that.
I know you like to respond to answers you get, so I checked back into to see if this was the case... lol. I was right. I respect your opinion though mine is vastly different. Mrraraavis said much of my rebuttal before I got the chance (great minds think alike). But here's is the other part of my clarification. Yes, Vitali HAD to quit like how Mr. R commented, to supplement that point, would it be WORTH winning against Byrd and never having a career again? No. Are you calling him useless because of his extensive carrer outside of pro boxing? As well as other sports. He is a Dr., with his education, he KNOWS when his body was hurt against Byrd... he also knew he could beat Lewis and WANTED to continue. So don't call him a quitter because you know full well he is not. That man has more guts than most will credit him with. I feel that the division being ununified (not weak or in shambles) casts a bad light. V. Klitschko would either be Champion or a highly ranked contender in ANY era. You bring up Ali, I will never say a bad word about Ali. However, if he lost every match he SHOULD have, he would not be nearly as highly reguarded as he is today. Knock downs against Peter? HAHAHA!!! Dispite 3 knock downs, Wlad STILL outboxed his butt to a point where depite losing rounds and the 3 knock downs, he still won with NO contraversy. I NEVER heard ANYONE say Peter was robbed. I value Vitali in higher reguards, but Wlad is no bum either. But when Vitali comes back (at a ripe age mind you) let's see someone prove him wrong, HE is the best right now in many people's mind. I like talking about boxing dude, you or anyone else is most certainly invited to IM me. Ciao.
LOL!!!, This is EASILY my longest response, fun though. Not that Vitali's other achievements outside the ring mean much inside. BUT, as I said, he IS NO QUITTER! Did you see his reaction to the stoppage? Do you remember his pressing for a rematch? Is THAT a quitter? Lewis' retirement as oppose to shutting the "useless-quitter" up? Do you remember that? Is Vitali the best ever, no. but you view him in SUCH a bad light it is not fair. I can't think of a top ten HW that has more heart... unless you do? Cuts happen, it's part of the game. I do not think the fight should have been stopped, not at THAT point anyways. The cut was NOT detrementing his ability. He would most likely have NOT been cut, if Lennox gave that "useless" fighter a rematch. And hey, V. Klitschko is so bad? Why not take an easy pay-day? Lewis was beaten by the worst "Heavyweight Champions". I just CAN'T BELIEVE anyone could call V. Klitschko a bum or quitter. I bet you think Duran is a great even though he did worse. At least Vitali did it for a REAL reason. Duran quit like Tyson and Golota and many others. No one questions HIS heart though. And W. Klitschko, he has no heart? Getting up continually vs Peter, to me proves he does. Typically, when a HW fighter goes down, it breaks his will to win... Not Wlad, he came back like a determined man, not some wuss. Who cares if he got knocked down? If you care about that, care about him getting up... no heart? Bum? You are kidding me? You bring up Sanders beating Klitschko? Which Klitschko do you mean? I seem to remember V. Klitschko whooping the snot out of him. And no, Vitali Klitschko vs Sanders 2 would be the same. At this point in time, NO Heavy can whoop Vitali. If so, who would THAT be? Them vs the brothers (Vitali in particular even at nearly 36yrs. old) can not win. I bet Vitali could beat a primed Tyson too, I know people will laugh at that, no way to prove it, but it is true. Vitali can't be knocked down or out. With SO many "bums" out there, why would you pick the 2 best Heavyweights and call them that without saying EVERYONE in the HW division are bums? If that is the case, why don't Cruisers or Lt. Heavies prove you right? Because they can't, that's why. Again, I enjoy the debate. You are a knowledgable boxing fan. I appreciate your willingness to stick to your beliefs. Don't take me as unkind, I simply disagree. It feels good to meet minds with another opinionated type.
Hey Brad, whatever. I love you bro. I LOVE when people have an opinion and not turn it into an arguement. It's cool you have someting to say. I honestly loved this question more than any I have ever answered based of of where it went. You are a cool guy, glad you stand up for your beliefs. I could say more, but I said what I feel. We can agree to disagree. Thank you for the thoughts.

Brad ~
The Heavyweight division is in shambles. This is the worst it's ever been. The proof is we're sitting here writing about the Klitschkos. Vitali is definitely the better of the two brothers. Wladimirs chin is no longer suspect because everyone that has ever seen him fight as seem him go down. Vitali showed enormous heart in his fight against a very overwhelmed Lennox Lewis. Vitali has way better power than Wladimir, and Vitali definitely has the better chin.
These two came along at the right time in our pugilistic history any other time they'd be someones sparring partner.
Thanks for the question Brad.

I agree with Ric. Sure Ali might have went rounds with injuries but look at him now. I bet he would have took a loss or two rather than be in the condition he is in now. Vitalli showed a lot of heart against Lewis and may come back yet. Wladimir had a couple of off nights...big deal. Actually against Brewster rumors had it that he was poisoned but Emmanuel Stewart chose not to let that go public. If he fought Sanders or Brewster again he would beat them easily. Every fighter has to do a fair share of learning in the ring. Ali had rematches to redeem himself Klitchko was not given any. They are the best in the heavyweight division right now and only about 4-5 other heavyweights come close.

Vitali is by far the more overrated Klitschko. He was labelled the heir apparent of the Heavyweight Championship after he LOST to Lennox Lewis. He won like the first 3 round of that fight before Lewis started to warm up and busted up Vitali's eye. You get labeled as the best Heavyweight in the world when you get your *** beat!? Now that's overrated.
Wladimir, though he gets labeled as the best HW out there now, it's ALWAYS with the caveat for being KTFO'd by Ross Purrity, Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster. Wladimir always gets criticism for his suspect chin and stamina, as well as getting his *** knocked down three times by Sam Peters. So, he's less overrated than his big bother.

I have no idea why people say that the heavyweight division is in shambles! Just because the champs are white!! Are blacks the only ones that are supposed to be heavyweight champions? Its like saying whites are the only ones who can become CEO's for companies. Or that only hispanics can play soccer... You guys ignant. oh and by the way people have been whining about the heavyweight division since Larry Holmes became champ!! Except for Tysons reign, everybody was overated according to people like you guys.

The older who just recently came out of retirement is the better of the two, but with the shape of the heavyweight division, talent isn't plentiful anywhere. Who is better then them?

Take the fourth rated heavyweight from the 60's and 70's. That could be a Zora Folley or a Kenny Norton, I don't care who they are. They would give these two men trouble.
