Some people never get arthritis in their knees. I think a lot depends on your genes and the type of work you do. If you have stood on your feet all your working life, you may be more prone to getting arthritis in your knees. Just keep moving and exercising to eliminate the stiffness. Dress warmly in the colder weather.

it doesn't matter what age you are even young children can have arthritis ,just take some anti-inflammatory and painkillers and keep yourself warm. also try to go for a walk each day as this will keep your joints mobile and stop them seizing up. I know it can be an awful nuisance , have it myself and it is worse in the cold damp weather .roll on summer

I work for an arthritis charity. This awful disease can strike anyone of any age. Small children have it.

Go to your doctor and get it checked out. You can never be so sure by asking us.
