this is in an area where you cannot call the humane society because it is out of city limits.
if you complain about these people's dogs thay call the dog over and shoot it and put it into the back of the truck to rot
what should i do they own about 14 dogs

GO TO THE HUMANE SOCIETY PERSONALLY AND TELL THEM THEY LOVE ANIMALS THEY WILL UNDERSTAND! THIS IS MOST DEFINITLY CRUELTY AND NEEDS TO BE STOPPED NOW!

Why is it you can call the humane society ? Their authority doesnt stop because just because these folks are outside city limits If There telling you that via phone contact the main headq via the internet and tell them about your problem and that your hum so wont act .Now theyll be required to look into it Unless these folks know someone or work for this humane society . Also try to get something on video tape shooting animals just for the fun of it should still be able to tried and arrested for animal crulty

The Humane Society (HS) should be for the County, not just the city. If you have tried calling them and get no results, try calling the police and reporting their cruelty and the HS situation.
I agree, it IS cruelty and something needs to be done about it!!!!!!!!

I think it is animal cruelty. You should be able to call animal control...They are completely different than the humane society. I would call animal control.

Call the county sheriff and ask them. There are many county ordinances (laws) that could be broken. I would think the health department would have an interest in rotting animals from a safety standpoint.

People that do not live in the city limits can still answer to the law,call them and tell them what you see as animal cruelty.I lived in the country in La. and there was a leash law there, you'd be surprised what the law says about things.Call them and ask them.If they have rotting dead animals then call the health dept. and tell them...

Your county's animal control department is who takes care of animal abuse, and can file charges. But the police can also direct complaints their way. I would file something asap on these people, and they may be able to investigate, find dead dogs, and save the rest. Sounds awful!

if you call the local police, it is possible o remain annonymous, and the police will not alert the owner to their presence. So, in fact, the owner will not know about it, until the police are already on their doorstep. By then, they won't be able to do anything about it:)

animal cruelty is a legal matter, you don't have to call the humane society, you can call your local police.

they should do something, but just your local police can do something, and yeah that is totally animal cruelty. Call the Police ASAP!
