As someone who's also studying Korean, I'd love to tell you there's a "fast and easy" way, but it's a difficult language, and if you want to do it right, you'll need to be able to read Korean characters (hangul), too. (Don't worry, though. Reading is the easy part.)
There are several online courses available to get you started.

The last one, LangIntro, is my favorite. There is also an audio CD/book available called "Learn Korean" that can be ordered from Amazon. It's an OK resource, and preferable to the websites since you can actually hear Korean conversation.
After using these resources to learn on my own, however, I finally took a Korean class through a local agency (the USDA). There are probably Korean classes near you, too. Look for embassy classes, or sometimes Korean churches offer language classes in an after-service community outreach. The embassies and churches are usually free, which is a benefit.
Finally, I got a Korean tutor to practice conversation. If you decide to do this (and it's a bit expensive, but worth every penny if you're serious about learning the language), choose someone with a Seoul dialect (the "standard" dialect of Korea).
Your b/f may also be able to help your studies, and would probably be glad to do so since you guys would get to spend more time together. Most Koreans I've met are really happy that someone is taking the time to learn their language, and they're really helpful and kind if you have questions.
Good luck!

you know how to learn korean fast and easy.
there is two way, in my opinion.
you can either make korean friend and have conversation (and when they are talking in korean while talking on the phone, try to catch as many words as you can. This is really fun. I always do this with my chinese friend. she makes fun of me because of the accent..keke><)
the second way is by listening to korean music or korean drama/ movie/ show programs/ and etc.,
this is really helpful. i mean you get to learn many phrase naturally (i mean everytime you take a course, it's all formal). Also this will help you develop another topic to discuss about amongst korean friends.
