Hopefully they have taken impressions for your dentures so that they will be ready next week. I would contact the dentist and find out just what the plan is.

If they are not complex extractions the dentist may offer to do them under a local in the office, otherwise an oral surgeon might be needed. I would think if that were the case, you would have seen the oral surgeon already.

Good luck

From what I understand - they will all be pulled at one time. Your oral surgeon will put you under with a mild sedative and extract all 19 in one sitting. You will have to have someone there to drive you home and will probably be in bed with a low grade fever for a day or so. If you have not been fitted for your dentures yet, you will have to wait five weeks before you can obtain them - if this is your case, your dentist should be able to set you up with some temporary dentures during your five week waiting period.
Hope this helped some.

Actually, I had this done 2/05/07/ . 21 teeth were extracted and a tori bone in the palate. It took 1 1/2 hrs under IV sedation. I had immediates made before the surgery and was awaken with them in after the surgery. There was no pain or fever, I came home and rested a bit ,took my meds On the 2nd day did the warm salt water rinses several times a day (do not spit the water out, just allow it to fall out).. Do not remove immediates for the first 24 hrs. they act as a band aid to control swelling and bleeding. When lying down keep head elevated And no straws, smoking carbonated beverages, or sucking motions for the first 24 hrs, (I would do this for a couple days). I had no problems and healed beautifully.
I hope this helped

yeah they'll all be pulled and when you wake up your new teeth will be in your mouth. you'll wear them for about 24 hours and then go back to the dentist for an adjustment. it's gonna take some getting used to but eventually they won't be a problem. just make sure you have realistic expectations.....these are not real teeth and they won't work as well.

that depends...are you having an oral surgeon remove them or a dentist? i worked for a dentist doing removals for dentures. we did either the upper or lower at once time. if an oral surgeon does it, he may remove all at once. i would reccommend having a oral surgeon do this procedure for you. he will sedate you and its a lot easier on you.

well, my dad got dentures and he got his teeth removed in a week, they took three or i think two teeth out eeach day, and i am 100% sure they wont take em all out at once, there nto allowed ot, hey cant, its illegal, turst me my dad got it done and he asked em, they said there is a certain number of teeth they can pull out in one day, its even unhealthy to get all ur teeth out at once, if they are doing that, u should seriously ask another doctor, cuz they arnt suppose to do that. hope i helped

Yes, they do one at a time. I imagine they will put you to sleep for this procedure.
