Why would I worship the sun?
It provides food, warmth, and life to this planet. Seems like a good thing to worship. If not for the sun, we would not exist.

No you're retarded. A while from now the world is going to end because the Sun might come close to Earth and kill everyone on it. Also, there is more than one Sun , trillions.

I have no problem with that, but my opinion of your religious beliefs doesn't really matter. Sun Worship is one of the most earliest forms of religion.

Not in my book. Whom does it harm? Not a soul. Worshiping freely as your conscience demands (so long as you harm none and do not abridge the rights of others) is part of your pursuit of happiness, which the founding fathers of my country declared to be your inalienable right as a human being.

Of course you are not "evil" just lost. The sun doesn't seem like such a good thing to worship to me. It is only part of creation. Some say it is "burning out" (don't know if that is true or not but...) Not only that, but the sun doesn't even have a personality--no emotions, no mind. You can find something/one more personal than that.

I bet you aren't the nicest, kindest, most tolerant, law abiding citizen in the world. What does worshipping the sun have to do with that? I mean, if you believe in God, you shouldn't worship the sun. If you believe in modern science, you shouldn't worship the sun considering that it's going to die sometime.

Not at all. There are many good people who worship the sun. It is a symbol of God in a way, because it is light, warmth, and without it, we could not live. So I think if you worship the sun, you are ultimately worshiping God.

Maybe not evil.
Just a worshiper of the sun, therefore against God,
So I'd say you would be considered lost.

No that doesn't make you evil. It makes you dumb and it will burn you. Don't stare at the sun unless your looking thru a magnifying glass or telescope.
