does it have to be cold for me to add it? I would like it to taste sweet, like the sweet leaf brand of green tea.

I usually add 2 teaspoons to hot tea. Add 3 if you like it sweeter and thicker (though excess honey can irritate the throat).

I would try a teaspoon full, and then taste it. Have you ever tried "Arizona green tea sweetened with honey and gin sing". It is very good. Usually at my store they sell it 2 gallons for $6.00. Very good on ice.

i`m just done having my tea and i like it sweet as well although not too sweet and one tablespoon is enough but you want to stir it in when it is really hot and let it cool and it is so good.
