All of those are plausible in my book. I'm fascinated by the string theory concept (but have a difficult time wrapping my mind around it.) That one would be my last pick.

First of all, this question is frequently erroneously stated as a "science" versus "creationist" argument. This is a false position.

It is a debate between 2 opposing philosophies : Naturalism/Atheism vs. (any type of) Theism.

The question at hand is therefore "Are natural causes and effects of sufficient power to explain the origin of the universe in general, and life in specific?"

Once the question is properly stated, then it is readily apparent that BOTH sides need to furnish appropriate supporting evidences and argument.

It is false to say that all creationists are 7day literalists, young-earth Christians. This is simply a straw-man argument, and frequently done in an ad hominem fashion.

There are in fact Theists who are not Christians (Einstein for example), Christians who are Intelligent Design Advocates (or general Theists who espouse this position), and Theistic evolutionists, who accept that natural selection may have sufficient power to produce speciation. All of these are IN HOUSE DEBATES in Theism.

What all of these categorically reject is the notion that natural causes ALONE are sufficient in terms of the explanation of the origin of the universe.

Also, to correct your misstatement further, prior to Hubble's work on the expanding universe, the prevailing theory of the universe was that it was static, not expanding. Despite relativity pointing to a finite universe, Einstein introduced his Cosmologic Constant for philosophical reasons to MAKE relativity FIT a static universe. When Hubble published his work, he retracted this. He and others rejected "Big Bang" theory on the grounds of it violated their desire to see a universe that had no origin so that they could beg the question of a creator. Once this evaporated, then the issue of origin became a point of contention again.

The biblical story of creation was a revelation people got. It's sometimes to explain the ways of God.-

Think! His Word is Life- When God said "lets be light" there was light. He is Almighty.

Up to now even the science, through DNA and Y chromosome has discovered that all men on this earth has a common father. On Geographic channel they called him "the scientific ADAM".-

What do you think of that?

First, could you use reliable sources. Do not rely on wikipedia since it is often edited by people who only care to act stupid. Anyways, God exists outside our realm of knowledge. How can we explain something being created from nothing? We can't. God could have used various means to create everything. Nonetheless, He was involved. You may be right concerning the nebular theory. It is not important how God created it. Why? The Bible leaves no clues as to exactly how God created everything. Evidently, God did not think it important to mention creation in extreme detail. Faith in Christ is the only way to Heaven. Visit www.gotquestions.org if you want to make a commitment to Christ. I hope this helps you.

God is not just a higher power. But I won't get into all that. God is God. He can do anything. Anything.
