Most Christians hope that atheists will be eternally tormented in Hell.

Most atheists don't hope that anyone will be eternally tormented.

I don't think that many Christians hope that non-believers would be tormented but they do seem to think that it is imperative to save people from eternal damnation. Atheists, most at least, just have goodwill for people. Christians have that eternal damnation factor fueling them and atheists have existence fueling them.

I don't know that christians hope that atheists will be eternally tormented in Hell.. I'd like to believe that they simply believe that they will be..

But then I like being optimistic in thinking that those people don't hate me that much simply for my lack of faith..

And yea, I don't think anyone deserves eternal torment. Some deserve punishment yeah, but never eternal.

I don't wish or hope for anyone to be eternally tormented in hell. Truly, all I feel for Atheists is sorrow. It must be lonely not knowing the love of God through a personal relationship with Him. You can be a Christian and go to hell, too. That's not anyone else's judgement to make. That's between you and God and noone else can be sure what is in your heart.

I do not want anyone to go to Hell. Neither does God. That is why He died in our place. I could not care less if someone wants me to go to Hell. Atheists have a right to believe what they want. I hope that all atheists get converted to Christ before it is eternally too late.

I think that's what you Atheists like to believe, because you guys love to make the religion look bad.

Ask any Christian and they'll say differently, they don't want anyone to burn in hell...and I'm not a Christian by the way.

Even if we wanted to save atheists from hell, the fact Jesus has decided to torture them in hell is reason enough not to save them. Becides when we are lounging around in heaven, we will need some entertainment. The thought of all these atheists burning should be good for a few laughs.

Christians believe in god, atheists don't.

Christians want to save atheists from themselves, atheists just want to be left alone.

I couldn't agree more. Although most Christians will say that they hope that an Atheist will "find Jesus" so that s/he will be "saved" from an enternal Hell.

I am just trying to save Christians from a life of ignorance and superstition.

i am a Christian & that is not my hope @ all. I would truly like to see everyone come to Jesus; forever is a long time to be wrong.
