Olly, if your family life sucks so bad there are places you can go that is not on the street. Running away from home is not good because the cops will find you and take you back every time. If you need help with your family take to a counselor at school or a adult that can help and that well. You can get out of this by taking the right steps. I hope you make it.
And if you want to have money when you’re older then save what you have now and learn how to spend it and then you can have it when you are older.

No. Where are you going to run? There are many runaways who have ended in all the wrong places. The ones who ran away and became successful probably had some plans in place and were very strong willed people to become what they are today and there is something called luck as well.

it worked for them...but they had a plan or idea that made them rich. the majority of people who run away from thier family end up in the last place they expected to when they ran away. what will you do for money? where will you stay? will you go to school? if not what do you expect to do with your life when your older and jobs are looking for collage and g.e.d? running away is not going to make life harder on you. plus most likly your just being a drama queen cause your patents said you have to be home by 10

That all depends on the situation. People like that are survivors and hard workers who just weren't getting what they needed from home. Most runnaways are just angry, or scared, or whatnot, and though they may not have had a good home life, they don't know how to survive and usually don't or just barely. Most successful people know that in order to be successful, you need to work and utilize every resource you have even if it may not seem like that good of a resource at the time.

With all the horrible stuff going on today why would you want to run away? If you have a safe and loving home you can always become whatever you want to. These people all had to work for what they got. Running away had nothing to do with it. Brains and a bit of luck did!!

I don't understand from where you got all these data. The personalities you have mentioned are all from well to do business families born with a silver spoon in their mouth and so are many other successful people. These people left their house either to study or to expand their business. Successful individuals like bill-gates, narayan murthy etc., had a strong family support behind their success.
.......People who run away from their family either become criminals or small time criminal business-man.

running away from home doesn't fix anything unless you have a stable environment that you are running to. If you are running away from home because you simply don't like your parents, get over it. but if you are running away from home to get away from someone hitting you, be running to someone that can help you and not to a peer's house. It doesn't have anything to do with them becoming rich and famous unless it taught them to budget their money and how and what to invest their money in.
