I believe in God! The scripture says: Genesis 1:1 in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. It's a fact we're here on earth to Love, Serve and to Obey God. Also, God sending His son on earth to redeem man. Jesus was born of a virgin, grew up, baptize, tested by satan in the wilderness, triumph victoriously, sought out disciples and heal, delivered, raise people from the dead, did miracles after miracles - yet he went to the cross to all our sickness and diseases upon his, reconcile us back to God, died the third day he arose from the dead and now making intercession for the saved and unsaved - I BELIEVE IN GOD!!!

wow... you're logic is astounding, now I'll dismantle all of your arguments.
He has not proven Himself, huh? How do you exist then?
He does not exist? What is your origin? Explain your origin.
This is more of a rant then an actual question, but I'll answer in the best way... So far every theory of the origin of this universe has no way to explain where it all began, where does god come from, he's an uncaused cause, as much of a paradox as the Big Bang, and with this paradox un-needed magic and superstition is tied in, so the logical choice would be the Big Bang.
He is mean since suffering exists? Don't you believe in various governments, yet they allow suffering, too.
I don't care for the suffering argument, but disregarding even that your analogy is poor, I can't make out what you mean by it.
He cannot be seen? Neither can air be seen, but you believe it exists. Last time I checked, you can not believe in something, but it is not as if it is "wished away."
Air can be proven to exist, by "see" we mean, observable, every theory the scientific community has conjured up has observable evidence, God, does not.
And I do not "wish" god away, he never existed in the first place, how can that be done.

Well, if the English language was a standard by which one might discern the presence of God, you certainly couldn't convince me.
There is no tangible and quantifiable proof of any deitie's existence on Earth. All that exists is able to be explained by natural means. Life, complex organs, all of it is explainable through evolution and time. Morals and justice, too can be explained in this manner.
Faith in a deity must come from supernatural means as any deity is a supernatural being. All evidential proofs will eventually be disputed. My belief is based on feelings and "supernatural" evidence. I can't be convinced through what exists in the world alone as all of it, ALL OF IT that is material has rational explanations.
What doesn't have rational explanations is the supernatural. Perhaps that is something that just hasn't been investigated enough. Past lives, feelings, "miracles", answered prayer .... these things are the ones that have brought faith.

Well, let's start from the top shall we....
No
I am a rational, logical human being
No, he has not proven himself
My mother gave birth to me
No, he does not exist
My ancestors came from Sweden about two hundred years ago
He does not exist. Man created suffering.
I only believe in one government.
No, he cannot be seen because he doesn't exist
Your last statement doesn't make any sense.

"What is your origin? Explain your origin"
I don't know my origin. Nobody KNOWS their origin. That doesn't mean it has to be God. What is written in the bible contradicts both itself and science in a way in which suggests God is the least likely explanation for our origin.
"Neither can air be seen, but you believe it exists" - yeah but air can be measured. Can God? No
In short: I do not believe in God because there is no logical reason too. I am yet to meet a christian who does not base their beleif on faith. Faith is not logical and can be defined as believing the least likely truth.

He has not proven himself, and my existence is not proof of his. He is not the cause of suffering, because he does not exist.
Last time I checked, you can believe in something, but it does not become true because you "wish it to be."

No, and your god hasn't proven himself. My existance can be explained by evolution. I don't think he's mean, I think he's nonexistant. I think Christianity says he's mean, no benevolent like they pretend.
Air CAN be seen. Why do you think the sky is blue? Maybe, because oxygen is blue? And hmm... oxygen makes up... what? Could it be air?
I don't believe in unicorns either, does that mean I wished them away? Think a little.

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

There is no evidence for any gods or goddesses. Not everybody is going to believe the same thing you do. Get over yourself. And take a course in logic while you are at it.

at least you're not uptight about it! 2000 years ago, you could have made the exact same arguments to prove Zeus.
and air can be observed to exist, just because our eyes don't see it doesn't mean it can't be "seen". if you can't understand the difference between knowledge based on observation/experimentation and faith, you just aren't very bright.
