first, take a shower, then, a skirt works wonders.... smiling is a must. don't be afraid to show your intelligence, and laugh. Be light (as in keep the subject light, you don't actually have to loose weight to get a guys number) . So, after you have mastered hygiene and behavior, simply start talking to (I'm assuming there is a particular guy you are referring to) him. If there a vibe, start talking abou tthe future (NOT as in the "m" word) like a game of pool, a concert, a study date, something. And end in, "great! I'll call you sometime, oh, what's your number?" this way, there's no pressure, and you aren't really saying, can I have your number so we can chat and maybe go on a date. ALSO- unless you are totally oblivious, its pretty evident if he's not into you. Google body language

why not try giving him your number. may be a special email address just for the occasion of handing to strangers you would like to know.
may be he would get in touch.
what about may be just going over and asking him an unrelated question just to break the ice. once he answers give him your name (pressuming he does not already know you). get his name. say thanks for your help and give him a contact card with your name (first name only so it is hard for him to trace you. and a completely anonymous email address that again is not easy to trace.
i can help with the email address if you need one. i have my own family mail server.
trust me being she is a life of loniliness. i'm 33 now and have never had the confidence to break the ice and make friends with any woman that catches my eye. and trust me everyday i see several pretty women. almost everywhere i look. it gets depressing.
if you work with the guy in question fake an excuse to get hold of his details. may be say you have been asked by personel to check his detaila on gfile are correct.
try saying, the number we have on file is (give your area code) now read out a random number. he will say no that is not my number. you can then ask him to correct the error. May be get him to give you his correct address as well in the same manner.
alll anyone has to do to get my number is ask me.

safety tip. if you have an email account from me do not delete the messages from the server interface. that way in the event of anything going wrong anyone who needs them such as the police can be provided with a copy.

Ask to borrow his cell phone and then when he hands it to you, call your cell phone...then you'll have his number on your caller ID. Sounds like a great idea...you didn't say you wanted to ask him for it!

first things first never go up to a guy and ask them for their number. You have 2 choices 1. find out what his last name is or 2. get one of your guy friends and tell them to find out what it is. it always works for me

Dont be desperate. A lady should never be so overt, if he doesnt like you enough to want to ask you for yours then he doesnt like you that much - hence wouldnt be a very good choice for a partner.

Spark a flirtatious conversation while acting completely cool catching his interest. Then find a reason to leave say it was fun and that you wish you could do it again. See if you can get him to offer it up.
