I'm not a beer drinker & I have some that's been in my refrigerator for four months now. I'm having some friends over this weekend & wasn't sure if it's still good or if I should buy new.

Buy some fresh beer and give that to your friends first. Then give them the older stuff later on. They'll never know.

Check the "born on" date. Beer should be fine in the fridge after 4 months.

There is usually a date that it was produced, and I believe it is good for up to 200 days after that date.

Four months should be fine, if it has been chilled and in a dark area
