These aren't regular humans. They are demon people. One of them is probably the antichrist. Someone needs to check Dick Cheney for a tail.

It doesn't. And just because evolution might have taken place, it doesn't omit God. It could be several things together that created us. I think it is never a tail to begin with, it just happens to look like one but really it is the inside of our bowel. Think about it. When someone has a hemmorhoid (I never have but I am a nurses aid so I have seen people with one) It is just skin coming out of your butt. Your insides are actually out. Sometimes the skin goes back in, sometimes it doesn't. I am not positive but that makes more sense to me than it being a tail.

I realize you are looking for answers from those who support creationism however I just wanted to comment. I read this article on Yahoo! a week or two ago and think it is a fascinating discovery and cannot wait to find out more. If you have any additional information, please post it for those of us who are curious. I am interested to see how creationists go about explaining this and how educted (or uneducated, actually) of responses you receive.

so a growth of fat and muscle tissue is recognized. so what? it's not a new genetic pattern, or else it would have had bones. it just makes it a mutation like any other. and besides,

a) evolution still cannot be PROVEN, as it can't be observed, repeated or controlled
b) mutant genes from parents are not usually passed on to their offspring, as human dna tends to correct its mistakes when uninhibitted
c) this is an example of an unbeneficial mutation, as animals wouldn't accept a misfit (no matter how slight), side effects such as inability to reproduce would be possible, and of course, a tail is a combersome thing.

sorry if i sound defensive, but you asked me to explain

I keep having a vision of being born with a tail and getting it slammed in the door.

I love evolution.

At the end of the article, he actually defends creationism by saying that the process of throwback to an extinct feature can't perpetuate itself.

Its obviously the work of the Great Deciever, aka Satan.
