Fat is the American tradition, the way we eat , no wonder. Fast foods, fried foods, the misleading food pyramid that says to eat more bread than fruits and vegetables.
I haven't succeded in getting rid of fat and keeping it off, but my son eats lots of raw vegetables and he lost weight, he eats more green veg's than percentage of anything else.

Try a cleansing diet! I did and lost 11 pounds and 21 inches in only 9 days. I was very happy with the results and continued on the program and lost 29 pounds in 5 weeks. This is the fastest I have ever lost with other diets like Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Medifast, Slimfast etc…. Cleansing works by removing impurities from your body. You get impurities from your food (pesticides, preservatives, food additives, colorings) water, chemicals, pollution, medications, alcohol, hormones that the animals you eat were fed etc….YUCK! The impurites get coated with fat and remain in your body. To remove the fat, you have to remove the impurites. This system worked for me, maybe it can work for you too. You can check out the website or call this toll free number 1-877-587-4647 for more info. The program is not cheap, but it is worth every penny since it works and keeps you motivated. Good luck! Ummm.... try lifting weights for your arms. It's easy and simple. For your belly, try jogging. DONT eat fats and sugars, DONT. I'm a nutritionist and I was an obese teenager. Now I'm 31, I'm 5"6 ,110 pounds, and my waist 24, so trust me, I know. Don't use pills or get one of those "Bowflex" things. Just keep it simple.

Strength exercises in those areas (crunches, pushups) will only strengthen those areas.
Cardio (running, biking, kickboxing) is what will actually reduce the fat in those areas, granted you're sticking to a healthy diet. I saw a huge reduction in belly fat when I started my running program.

When we lose weight, there is no way to specifically burn fat from one part of the body. Doing situps won't burn the fat that is covering your abs and doing tricep extensions won't get rid of the fat that is covering your triceps. The only thing you can do is lose weight all around and eventually the problem area will also improve.

Who doesn't have belly fat? I recently purchased one of those body slimmers. Get the one that looks like shorts and goes all the way up to under your breast. They work wonders and actually makes you look skinnier than you really are. I've never looked better in clothes! I got mine from ross, but you can try any department store. I think sears might have them too

you can't really spot train any area of your body to lose fat off of it. cardio exercise, coupled with strength training and eating healthy will help.
sugars and simple carbs (white bread, etc) will make you gain in the stomach area.
cut out all sodas, juices, carbs that are not whole wheat, and candy/sweets
